hahahah....122 pieces of lumber sold????....HAHAHAHAH...what is the revenue on that??....TRUTH:The "SANDY STORM" rollout for ECOB's products began back on MAY in BREEZY POINT NEW YORK and to date not a SINGLE HOME has been built using the ECOB PRODUCTS.....we have a report of 1 HOME being built in LA LA LAND CALIFORNIA and that is IT!!!!.....FOUR....4 MONTHS AND NOT HOMES BEING BUILT WITH THIS PRODUCT....AND GUESS WHAT?...BUILDING SEASON IS COMING TO AN END IN NY, PA, NJ, MASS, and all places NORTH of the MASON DIXON LINE....oh, and guess what again....ONE MORE StorM and the NEW CODES ARE GOING TO REQUIRE BLOCK CONSTRUCTION in FLOOD PLAINS!!!!!!!!

i would have expected more, way more. so, i calls my local HD store to see how many piecs of 2" x 4" x 8' can fit on a truck. the guys says "about 6000". 16' pieces would be 3000. how many do you think fits on a railcar???? 20,000?

449 pieces between all of those east coast stores is like a unit and a half? really? that's it? crud! that won't even pay for steve's rental car to get to the stores to promote it.

are you sure there isn't more? that CANNOT be the number. maybe he was referring to only one SKU? please tell me you made an error to the very low side. 449 units perhaps?

so, i asks the HD guy how many home builders buy their lumber at HD. he says "almost none. mostly do-it-yourselfers and some remodelers." production builders or national home builders? "never", he says. "they buy direct from the producers"

in other words, the revenue numbers are not going to be what we had hoped.
