For some time now, I thought that legislators passing laws they don't understand was a product of our current time. Apparently, I'm wrong.

In 1897, politicians in Indiana passed a bill to change the value of Pi to 3.2 -- and the vote was unanimous!

I suppose they didn't like 3.14159...
