They will never admit to that. FrizBall and clan will simply say they were unable to verify. That it was a noble effort in the face of enormous odds.
I, however, would say that it was an ignoble effort that flew in the face of reality & logic. That there was never any real intention on the part of the task force to prove a NSS which they knew from the beginning was non-existent. That the entire plan was to compile a list of future dupes at the expense of the dupes themselves ... and to keep any renegades from pursuing legal remedy.
