Well, ok. Given that Microsoft has historically lowballed their memory requirements by at least a factor of four, why should they change? Oh yeah, because Intel can't do that. Yeah, that makes sense. They would change their memory requirements because wbmw needs them to....

I don't see how you get a conspiracy theory out of that. What
I've heard and read of Vista is that it is a resource hog. Memory included. You seem to make a lot of claims without any interest
in looking for yourself to see whether the claims are true or not. Why don't you put it on your Pentium M laptop to see how it runs.

BTW, do you think that anyone that orders a Pentium M system from Dell this month should cancel their order and wait for the DC to come out? After all, it's obsolete hardware, right?
