Hi Bob, Amazing how much work those long and short runners do on that six-banger. I can imagine how sluggish it would be at low engine speed with the slow runners out of the picture. Glad you got it solved.
As soon as you get everything right, maybe you could sell it to me!!!

I don't think I ever drained the cooling system on mine. Is your burp tank working okay? I'd think you should be able to eventually get it all the way full by keeping that bottle full when the engine's hot and toping it up as it cools. Should suck back into the cooling system.
