Prof...your summary is very good (painfully good lol) and I can't say that I would change a thing. The timeline is right on and your analysis of the events and how they shook out is accurate.
OMG, remember how the board was buzzing about the prospect of seeing our little company during the Super Bowl???? EVERYONE was hootin' and hollerin'.
To bring that chapter up to date, I do think Fleming learned a LOT from that experience. And from a personal point of view, I can testify that he definitely learned, and it shows in every aspect of the business.
I was a sub at the time and a shareholder. After the dust had settled I let my subscription expire. I still hold a fair amount of shares from back then. Tree topped shares. I ultimately became a drive by visitor to this board, and ventured on and just started trading different stocks and I did that until just recently and didn't really think about GZFX very much. Every now and then I would see a post on BB's board that would catch my attention, but only for a moment.
Now....I am a sub again and to say the difference is like night and day is the understatement of the century!!!!! The service so far has been outstanding. At first I was a little concerned because the dates my movies and games shipped were excellent in relation to when I signed up. I Joined on a Sunday and everything shipped by Tuesday. But when they hadn't arrived by Thursday I started becoming concerned and having flashbacks. However, some of the people here told me about their recent first order, and the time it took to arrive, and then I also took in to consideration that I live in Florida and factored in how the mail ALWAYS gets messed up down here when it gets close to Christmas and my worries were extinguished. Four items came on Friday and the rest Saturday.
GameznFlix now has a VERY satisfied customer. But what about those shares from back then??? I still have them but due to some convenient trading prior to the CC deal, and some even better trades when CC came on board, I am WAY ahead and those shares are just sitting and waiting for the pps to catch up to them. Which I firmly believe will happen, Add to that the money I am saving by not having to BUY 50 dollar games for my son anymore and I'm in even better shape!!!
This company is a thousand times more professional than it was back then. The future is looking better and better as each day passes. There is an "air" about this stock now that is absolutley electric!! I think most here would agree with me when I say I can't wait for the market to open every day, and I now HATE weekends.....LOL!!!!
To sum up this long post, (I apologize to all for that) in retrospect, the infamous Super Bowl event just might have ended up being the best thing that could have happened to this company. Some very BIG lessons were learned. They took a step back and refocused. They made some DESPERATELY needed changes, both operational, and personnel improvements, and in general the company as a whole "grew up".
I'm looking forward to the future of this stock and it just goes to show that there are stocks on the OTCBB that can improve and not just fade away into obscurity!!!!
