It was before my time as well but as I understand it....They decided not to for reasons of numbers I believe(could easily be wrong on that). I did read that they did advertise during the Superbowl but only on several local networks. I also read that they recovered some cost by re-selling the spot. I don't know how accurate this is because it may have been on the board that I read this. I would be interested to find out if this is true but for the most part I don't see it as something that affects our future and I don't see it as worth spending much time to research.

beacs....not a sad story, theres no story. Good idea but the timing was wrong and to sum it up and put it to bed, they decided not to do it for a couple of reasons. Mainly cost and the time slot in which it would air.

In the end they called it off which was the right thing to do.

beacon...GZFX and AdSouth decided to do a national SB commercial in which they had a contest wherein the 3 lucky winners would be in it. But the process, finances, creativity, circumstances in general were horrible at the time, and they pulled it, EXCEPT in the 3 regional markets where the winnners were from. The resulting commercial was a complete disaster, and I sincerely doubt GZFX would ever tie themselves to that sort of thing ever again, nor would CC let them!
