The scope is a bit narrow, but without government paying for it, the only profitable part seems to be feeding fish in aquaculture. Algae Fuel just doesn't look like it will be profitable in the near future.
The extraction is too costly, IMHO. I can't even find anyone to prove that it's the Omega 3 that makes my fish grow so fast. It's an educated guess based on certain factors of the results.
