Trend, although this may step on some Roman toes, do understand that the Pope is NOT God. The Pope's comment represents one man's perspective and interpretation of God's Word (He divinely inspired it's writing - with that I am confident the Pope would agree). The fact that the Pope holds a perspective that contradicts the bible is one thing. For anyone to give any significance is yet another. Just because someone of renown makes a statement that suggests their personal conviction (Obama comes to mind regarding his "rethinking" homosexual marriage)should have no bearing on one's actions if it is NOT TRUE. As Gleno said previously, this nation and others have turned their backs on God and you have to look no further than the acceptance or rejection of the bible, God's Word and revelation to and for man himself.

No he didn't..What he said was "If someone is gay and he searches for the LORD and has good will, who am I to judge"..I think he just said if the guy will confess he is a sinner and not commit homosexual acts then he is not to be judged by the pope...the pope is just another guy who has misunderstood the Bible and it's teachings..He has a position in the public but he is looked upon by God the same as the poor homeless guy who has not accepted Christ as his savior and LORD...
