On the call, SPPI said the CVRs did have an expiration date, but that it was way off in the future. Of greater concerns to shareholders are the details of the CVR payout. Will WP get paid the preferred payout it is due ($136 million I think). If so, common shareholders will have to wait for the $400 million a year in sales to get anything.
But all this is conjecture at this point, until the CVR details come out.
