I see your frustration, and its understandable. But you're looking at it the wrong way. Trust me, if a company is even THINKING about LEAN, they're only on their way up. This is not something dying companies use to revive themselves, its for those who are successful, and want to be better than that.
Often times, very small and seemingly simple production changes can make those "20k sharks" look like chump change (though, I do agree, I would love to see that as well).
New facility...
New management....
New technology...
New sales (we'll have those shortly)...
....so just have a little faith.
