JDZ block 1 is a consortium of Afren, CNOOC and Total. Per the post that I am responding to, Block 1 can be commercial due to existing infrastructure by Total...

...but clearly CNOOC, Afren and Total all get along just fine.

And with existing infrastructure nearby as you mentioned PLUS any new infrastructure due to Block 1 of the JDZ...then those two infrastructures combined can make other JDZ blocks even more commercial still.

Why should ERHE give up something in the JDZ for something in Kenya? They are two different animals.

For you to question ERHC's brightness is just an opinion. Please feel free to back up your opinion with a link.

ERHE's Kenyan Oil block is hardly a blank canvas!

It's already been decided that an oil pipeline will run through it!

And I might add that its value has been going up with the discoveries at Twiga and Ngami.

You mentioned earlier that ERHE paid only a few hundred thousand for this block...and that was before Twiga and Ngami.

Wow. How insightful was it for ERHE to pick a block just before major discoveries were made in the vicinity?

Oh, right. ERHE was not that insightful, because it got Peter Thuo. Thuo worked for Kenya's oil company...and I think he knew a thing or two about Kenya's block. Hardly a blank canvas.

And it's the last one before any new block with the new onerous regulations come along...

...that makes ERHE's block quite rare, doesn't it? And we all know what happens when a desirable but rare asset exists...it becomes priceless...

...soon we will learn the outcome of this LOI and just how priceless our multi-national oil company, which has oil wells on several continents around the world, think ERHE's block is worth...

...they may even purchase some of ERHE just to get a piece of it!!!

Do you know how ERHE can sell shares to a multi-national AND avoiding additional massive dilution???

Well...maybe that's the reason Offor didn't buy his shares at the stock offering...maybe those shares initially slated for Offor are now earmarked for the new multi-national partner.

Wouldn't that be great?

Do we really think that Offor gave up on ERHE now that ERHE has Kenya and an LOI with an operator? Nah. Offor must have known that ERHE didn't need back up assistance...ERHE had this one.

But if ERHE didn't need Offor's cash...then where was that cash going to come from???

Well, Africa Oil sort of foreshadows that answer doesn't it?

in my opinion,
