zenus, the reason I'm surprised is that the details don't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling about TMMI's chances in this lawsuit. The first filing was based on Simpson's two sworn affidavits and a supposed theft where an employee gave the codec to Panik. The second amendment doesn't even have that in it's complaint but states that TMMI wasn't aware that anyone else had the codec. Based on the Simi Valley case 10 years prior, that's just ridiculous.

None of this was mentioned by Phil. Of course he's in Vegas to play cards not lawyer. I know I was hoping Phil would vindicate and confirm what I've been posting. That didn't happen. Too bad.
