A win may have encouraged negotiations, however, it is unlikely that this debacle has changed the time frame at all. We now know opponents are VERY likely to take this process through every step of the legal system: the full commission, Fed Circuit Court of Appeals , and probably to the president. I'm sure the gangsters from NOK have shared their legal philosophy with the other gangsters. If IDCC had won this round, the bad guys would be appealing. Granted, a victory would be a hell of a lot nicer to be sitting on right now. Unfortunately, Merritt's 2-4 year $800 million time frame may have been too optimistic. Sure would like to use the NSA's data gathering capability to "analyze" Shaw's phone and financial record's. Anybody know how to reach Eric Snowden?
