Do you think that we'd have the emotions we do if they had not been instilled in us. And yet they are not instilled into our rulers?

Can't say why, but there seem to be 2 types of people on this planet.....those with empathy and those without. The latter are called psychopaths. They are the aberration, imo.

I'm just taking a hard look as best my feeble brain is able to understand how that came to be and if anyone is responsible.

We allowed it of course through our indifference. We seem to be at the heart of the struggle between those qualities.
