yep, very familiar with that story. reaction to a remembered good experience.. learning not inherent.

I'm definitely looking for anything I can quantify visually, appreciate you and z replying.

but again.. to say we know what the lion is thinking or feeling is presumptious.

Do you think that we'd have the emotions we do if they had not been instilled in us. And yet they are not instilled into our rulers?

It is in the best of interest of the group at the top of the food chain that we turn the other cheek while we're being violated so we can prepare for the next round.

I'm just taking a hard look as best my feeble brain is able to understand how that came to be and if anyone is responsible.
