The instrumentation "reads" the mineralization according to differences seen by the electromagnetic "eye". As long as it saw some differences in mineralization on the first few flight lines....that means the rest of the lines can be flown to intersect eachother and draw a 3d map. Had it read very little difference in mineralization on the first few lines....then recalibration would be necessary....or there is no evident mineralization to read.

That's how I understand it anyway.

leif, What does ZTEM do, what is ZTEM used for ??????? ??????? ??????? ans: to reveal substrate matter of specific nature, that being by its atomic structure. The FW-ZTEM application and purpose intended by the flights over Hay Mountain is/are for the discovery of minerals. That group of minerals as mentioned in LBSR NRs many times, being such as COPPER,GOLD,VANADIUM,RARE EARTHS,ZINC and sundry array of other poriffery associated ores. IF the first 2 lines revealed nothing i think that the remainder of the ZTEM would of been scratched off and the PROJECT shut down or put on hold. An example of this type of exploration would be in drilling, many a WELL has been shut down after finding that none of the previous magnetics were giving true reading to the Geologists, this happens to several wells every year. NOTE that the old magnetics over Hay Mountain showed a sembllence of an sizeable amount of definative ore bodies of quite HUGH proportion and were MAGNETICALLY DEFINED by SRK Geological services as being in all likelyhood a descriptor of metalorific ore bodies. Based on the few lines which were flown over the past weekend, it is essential to NOTE that any further flights would be a waste of time had not the FW-ZTEM confirmed both that the ZTEM was working as planed and that these readings concured to be readings which certified the PRESENCE of ORE BODIES. (highlighting particular points here to bring your thoughts to the purpose of the ZTEM and when ZTEM would be of no further use, such as no mineral ores showing as in the example of a dry hole in a gone bust oil well) IE/dryHOLE. The FW-ZTEM will define ore bodies over the Hay Mountain. Thats why they are continuing the FW-ZTEM flights over these Hay Mountain claims, and that if ore bodies have good furtherence in the surrounding areas that they are going to be ZTEMing additional sites connected to the HM claims. If they continus FW-ZTEMing procedure after Hay Mountain WE/YOU/WE ALL of us will know they are not only finding ORE they are finding extensions of the ore bodies on neighboring lands. That is that the readings from the FW-ZTEM would satisfy a GEOLOGIST to say "YES" these are certifiable ore porifferies revealled. Next we move onto DRILLING, only drilling certifies the actual value readings of ore bodies.
