Just so people are aware of more DD than JUST what is PR'd via the company.....
Call the multitude of Internet Service Providers in the US and ask if they are capable of the speeds to residential consumers that are REQUIRED to STREAM 4k.....
There are a COUPLE but that's ALL and the PRICES to achieve these speeds (and still not guaranteed as its "as high as.....") cost an average of $115 a month plus some and have data caps on them similar to cellular data.
But hey let's all just ASSUME Sony couldn't figure out how to STREAM 4K while NTEK could!
The BIG BOYS have the tech but aren't STUPID enough to waste time on streaming it when the Internet speeds aren't there widespread so they are using the "download" option instead to GET consumers INTERESTED in the tech! Done ALL the time by SMART ESTABLISHED COMPANIES THAT DONT RUSH INTO A MARKETPLACE WHEN IT'S NOT READY!
But yeah that's REAL DD and not just quoting from company PR's!
