No no no, serf - BCIT is the Plaintiff in the lawsuit, but is a Defendant in the petition to allow Global Consulting to join the lawsuit. Completely normal.
What is important (apparently) is that BCIT is a Defendant in the petition to allow Darbie to join the lawsuit - but Darbie has suddenly become a Defendant in the main lawsuit.
How could BCIT be a plaintiff and defendant in the same suit. Wouldn't anybody who filed against BCIT have to file a counter, and would be a completely separate issue?
