If as you say it does not happen .. then why is it topical these days ?
Because people like Gayle Essary and Gary Valinoti started the whole thing for reasons of their own. Essary runs a promotional company. Valinoti, who just got sacked for millions in fines by the SEC, wanted to cover up his own peculations, and his association with Mark Valentine.
And as I've said before, the whole campaign confuses the marks, and is designed to distract their attention from the evils of toxic financing. Naturally it's also designed to distract attention from the real reasons crappy companies fail.
How can we all be wrong, and you right ?

And remember that Stoecklein never said a word about naked shorting until he saw that he might be able to use Frizzy to his advantage. Even then, he didn't insist on it to the SEC.
