That's one thing I like about AVG. It updates really fast without interfering with things you are working on.

I was gone for a couple of hours and I see mine up dated while I was gone. It updates automatically.

I had two waiting. I did the first in a couple of seconds and after reading about the large one I thought I'd check back right away. Then I got the larger of the two. FWIW
