Apples vs oranges insofar as PCL is considerably safer than the average S&P 500 stock.

I wasn't talking about the 'average S&P 500' stock, I was comparing to the S&P average. It's silly to think any one stock is 'safer' than the average.



Moreover, compounded dividends amount to serious money over time and shouldn’t be omitted from price-performance calculations.

They're not removed from the calculation.
