I hear ya strange things do happen but this will resume trading and as a grey sheet- FINRA/SEC are not a shoot first ask questions later- they compile evidence of wrongdoing and then they shoot- these guys are already guilty and thats the reason for demotion to the greys- the investigation will be ongoing and continuing for some time.
In otherwords I just cant see how some sort of outiside influence shorts/Sharp Etc.. landed BOPT on the greys- it was bopt-insiders who landed Bopt on the greys.

Highly unlikely. Being on the Greys mean they've lost compliance with SEC Rule 15c2-11. In order to regain it, they must find a market maker willing to prepare and submit a Form 211 for them. That is not easy when the company has regulatory problems. And should a Form 211 be submitted, it must be approved by... FINRA.
