Yes, but at least when they are a reporting company we can all go to EDGAR and immediately see they are full of crap and the PR is a lie. With the non-reporting pink sheet companies, the absence of actual factual filings or, even worse, the misleading or fraudulent "filings" or "financial statements" posted at OTC Markets often are specifically rigged and created to perpetuate the scam. For naive or inexperienced investors, the BS put out by the Company is difficult to spot because they think the other evidence supporting the lies somehow makes it all factual.
