He (she ?) has a tendency to gloss over and forget and hope you do too when proven incorrect, the arguments are quietly dropped as if they never existed and no acknowledgement of error is given. Cases in point are the alleged tampering with Toms' stress Centrino, also the shifting of position when discs were proven to be a major part of TPC-C, Intel don't release Peak scores etc etc. Call it what you will but it sure ain't INTEGRITY and I have absolutely zero respect for such slippery individuals as may have been apparent by my responses to said individual.

If they come back and say to me that your first explanation or even your second explanation is correct you will be the first to know.

Fair enough. Let me know what they say. I am always interested in improving my understanding of thermal specifications, as it is an interest of mine. Though personally, I think you continue to misunderstand my point of view, and are too quick to call me incorrect or inconsistent. We shall see.
