Intel's software tools group and developer relations group should benefit any such activity and due to the amount of re$ource$ should have a much larger impact than anything AMD could muster especially considering a 10x volume target compared to any AMD chip.
I got this Acer system for my mother, so I can vouch that it's a nice model. She loves it!

Point is, Atom tablets seem to be slowly aligning with ARM ecosystem pricing. All we need is for some 7-9" models to show up at $299 and below. Android will also shave $50-100 off the price.
Interestingly enough, the system architecture of SNB/IVB and apparently HSW looks much more elegant/integrated than what AMD does, so Skylake should really move things forward.
What exactly is much more elegant/integrated? The ring bus? The shared LLC? HBM? GDDR5?
