True, but why spend/waste $2-3 grand on a invasive test for the vast majority of the population that turns 50 if a simple poop test can rule out the need for the expensive one? Those with a strong family history or other risk factors would obviously prefer the "one and done" procedure I'm certain and it does make sense in that setting. However, simple screening needs to stay simple imo. I've been in medicine for over 35 years.... I see MASSIVE spending waste every day for no better reason than it's available and as long as I'm on Medicaid, Medicare, or my insurance covers it I'm getting it.
But you are right in that that $600 million market cap was inflated- folks were counting on that fat marketing check that may, in fact, still materialize in some form... just not $600 million perhaps ;-)
