Yesterday was just more of the same short term - make a quick buck on news buying by microcap speculators. It's a skiddish crowd these days and at the first sign of more stock weakness they decided to lock in their quick 15-20% gain and get out IMO.
Hopefully this bombing is isolated. The country has had amazingly few of these incidents since 911. If the frequency increases, and we start seeing suicide bombers and the like in the US, I imagine attention will once again be given to IMSC very quickly. I hope THAT doesn't happen, of course.
After the recent conf call and the discussion about the TSA opportunity to replace some 600 or so units by Jan 1, and another 800 or so that are out of warranty, I am willing to continue to hold so that I'm IN IMSC BEFORE it juts upward out of the blue someday.
There are many different potential catalysts to move this stock, and move it fast. I'm not going to be out when they happen, as I've been a fool before trying to play the short term stuff, and missed out big time. Taser was one of them, but there have been a number of others. Not this time.
IMSC has arguably the best tech in the world, industry giants in management (several who jumped ship from their main competitor), rising pressure from agencies and govts to purchase their products for many different uses. They recently reiterated profitability by the Dec quarter end and indicated the interest in their products has been growing quickly. It's just a matter of time and the easy road in this case IMO is the long road.
