It's hard to say why I love them cooked but not raw, but there are lots of other vegetables I love cooked but not raw.

Broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, celery, carrots, cabbage, the list goes on and on.

About the only vegetable I can think of I can endure raw is lettuce, but I really don't like it.

But I don't like any of them overcooked.
