see ive felt the same way and hear bad opinions of merlot but find chardonnay more bland but as my palette is "not up to par" i dont hold much to my opinion. LOL.

My excel notes show that I liked a 2001 Hess Select Chardonnay from Oakville, Ca., but that was in 2003.
