To soon? We have one shot at this CC deal. All our resources(money and time) should be in use to get this thing done. A website malfuction could blow the whole deal. CC people will think Gameznflix management are fools if they have the website at subpar levels on the biggest shopping day when the CC circular is out.

I agree John, this is not an over night thing, I keep thinking several years out myself because this is just the beginning. The time to worry about the website is not while we are expieriencing such growth, but rather when and if it starts displaying loss of growth, right now I have no reason to believe that they wont have this conscern addressed well before then.

It was Chip who "said" it "was" in "beta" and "would" be "released" within a "few weeks" but would not commit to an exact date. I disagree, I think it should be up now. I don't think it's a matter of a few "touch ups" I think it's a total redesign, in beta, already paid for, just not launched.

First impression is everything, and they "should" expedite this IMO. Go back to the interview and "re-listen" to "exactly" what "Chip" said.

Great Holiday to you...

PS: Not to mention John said the movie "download" feature "was" in beta as well. I think they are working out some bugs and should see both (web site first) VERY soon.

Peace.

seriously - your website is your store - you wouldn't go shopping in a place that looks like a mess, would you?
No way that they can wait until next year - now or never -the CC deal will be history if they fail to bring up a better website - look at the website, it is a mess(database, searchfunction, etc.) - they haven't been able to bring a backup online after having messed the hole database - what kind of experts do they have - have never seen such proffesional work in this field - horrible, and there are no excuses for this - they really should do their homework that's the most important thing right now

I don't think we are expecting too much from the site right now. If they have this thing advertised nationally they need to have a website that is up and running correctly as well as very functional and efficient. AS WELL as very pleasing to the eye. First impression is EVERYTHING.....and if i'm comparing nflx's site to gzfx and i'm a customer...i might lean toward nflx just based on the website. Especially if i'm to use this service alot. I want to know that i will have no problems in the future. The website has been off and on bunk the last day or so for service and there are several things that could be done to make it more efficient/functional/better looking...........If you are about to open a restaurant in a growing town...When you open it up, don't you want the wait staff, cooks, every employee trained to professional status. Don't you want the food and process to be perfected. Why would you open unless you are VERY near to completion and perfection. Well you see my point anyway. I would personally be very disappointed if the new website wasn't up until Q1. The website is CRUCIAL... this is an online business. The face of GZfX is it's website. I hope the expression on gzfx's face changes soon for the better. A push from some of you guys to JF wouldn't hurt. BTW...and its rediculous that i feel like i have to include this.....I"M not a #$*@ing Basher for any of you "either pump or leave" guys. Counterthoughts or any feedback encouraged. 2 Million, Long and Strong. Really think we have something here.

Peace
