I think xoma is working from a position of certitude. servier recently completed a 20 patient bechet safety study and Kirkland stated they had 'similar results'. I take that to mean the miracle happened again.

interesting to hear Kirkland at roth. he made an interesting argument of underdosing in the acne trial:

average weight ~70kilos. weight based dosing at .6mg/kg so 70x.6 is 42mg average dose. many xoma dose trials are at 30mg and 60mg. would be interesting to know what 60mg would look like although i'm not holding out any hope here.

Kirkland also believes that neutrophilic dermatoses and Schnitzler (1-2,000 patients combined in u.s.) may reach market before uveitis.

also not holding out any hope, but it would be another bechet x 30+ if erosive osteoarthritis of the hand could prove effective.
