Abbott runs manufacturing plants in more than a dozen foreign countries…and generated 58% of its $40 billion in 2012 revenue outside the U.S.

The 58% figure is for the old Abbott that included the ABBV component. For the new ABT, 70% of sales are ex-US (and 40% are from emerging markets).
