Steve, I do not see any other explanation for the type tape action we see. Explain to me why the tick is acting the way it has been. Puplava seems to sum it up; " Bulls seem to have no problem; for them intervention or no intervention, there is always a reason to be buying stocks valuations or poor earnings aside."

Without a doubt, yes. I said so at the time (and predicted the day before that it was going to happen), and continue to believe it now. Both the July and October "bottoms" were artificial and created by the PPT stepping in to stop a potential waterfall drop in the markets and especially to save the money center banks.

If you are familiar with trading patterns in various stocks (tic by tic, not macro), there is no other explanation for the jamming that goes on when the PPT is coming in with both feet unless you accept the premise that everybody all decided at the exact same time to buy a select group of stocks and futures (at the same instant) and were determined to pay the highest price possible in doing so - and then kept repeating the process time after time.
