Nah, it is a liberal trait, Bullpuckey. Still won't admit it? Must be lying then, not just uninformed. We are not debating immigrants here as you say. We are simply pointing out that you made a factual error in one of your pronouncements.
As to immigrants, I don't care to debate that subject. My great grandparents were immigrants, and my wife's parents were immigrants. Perhaps in your view that makes me a foreigner. The constitution states that since I was born here I am a citizen. I am not against immigrants, when legal. I also understand better than you seem to why they came here. It wasn't because our country gave them more freebies. If that was the case, they would have gone to the USSR. They came here for freedom, that freedom that the founding fathers wrote into the constitution and wrote about in the declaration of independence. They also came here to have a chance to succeed. That is why most immigrants come here.
Now before you get all high and mighty, I am also not saying anything about even the illegal Mexican immigrants being horrible people. They work harder for less money than you probably ever did, and send a bunch home to take care of those back in Mexico. I just don't think that entitles them to free health care when I have to pay for it.
Now, as to insults, you have not been lilly white in that regard have you? Scream and yell how horrible it is when it is you that gets insulted if you want. It doesn't feel any better to us than to you. I will stop insulting you now. You have nothing further to say that interests me in the slightest way, but when you do, I will feel free to jump back in and correct you.
