You are still wrong... the original statement was illegal immigrants... and the part you wanted to argue was don't need to let a bunch of strangers from other lands tell us how to govern ourselves. Obviously meaning here and now... not 1776. There wasn't, originally, anything to argue about till you pulled it from thin air.

All Americans, if I understand you correctly ~ We agree on that. The conservatives I know and respect include ALL Americans. We do, however, express reluctance when asked to support, supplement, and sustain illegal immigrants.

We figure we've enough challenge putting up with our liberals, and they're family. We sure don't need to let a bunch of strangers from other lands tell us how to govern ourselves. Hell, they won't obey our laws and respect our nation ~ all they're interested in is our money.
