I'm not saying there isn't anything in between. I'm saying that AMD didn't offer enough value.

You were suggesting that ARM v8 could not provide a good-enough solution because - hey, look at AMD and Bobcat...

I'm merely laying out a hypothetical line of attack should Apple decide to directly go after the Wintel notebook market and how Apple can attack in a way that differs from a player like AMD.
