I wonder whether Apple's 30% stock drop is related to Intel's new tablet and phone offerings ?

Steve Jobs swallowed his pride and switched to Intel's CPU line, and revived his company. For that he had to admit that no one can beat Intel's process leadership. Why will his successors conclude differently.

Before they switched to Intel, Apple share had dropped from 30% or 50% of the PC market to a 3% cult following share. I am pretty shre the same thing will happen if they don't switch to Intel for phones and tablets, this time also.

If Apple wanted to build a better laptop, why haven't they already? They've been making laptops for far longer than they've been making tablets or phones.

If you're suggesting that there may be some magic around iOS and ARM that isn't there in MacOS and x86 - then what is this magic? If I wanted to create something using Photoshop and Final Cut Pro, you think iOS and ARM will give me a better experience?

IBC,
Who is stopping Apple from doing that? If it offers product that are not competitive, it will loose market share.
