No, when I try to recover, the process does NOT see a usb3 drive or the western digital mypassport external drive.
but when loading drivers/searching for drivers, the usb3.0 drive is visible - can look all over it for driver files..
which is maddening as one part of the software package seems to work (with usb3) and then, the important one, give you nada!

with both external drives plugged into usb2.0 ports the load driver function can find and search the two external hard drives. try and get that image restore to see the imagebackup and it all of a sudden goes stupid and only sees the x:\ drive, which is 32Mb size with 31Mb free (the mini O/S loaded from the repair dvd/disc).
I had attempted to do a system image restore on a windows XP pc a week or two ago, and it created a large file, but as soon as I tried to create a system repair disk the software would NOT allow anything but a diskette to create the system repair disk. That's what you/I get for using 1999 technology. The 2012/13 technology is riddled with pitfalls and pratfalls as well.
