Yes, the system I'm on now is system 7, all updates (well maybe flash is not the most current)are installed.
I have both usb2 and usb3.0 flashdrive


pretty sure the laptop only has one usb3.0 port, the other two are usb2.0 but reserve the right to be incorrect.
