Jakes_: I'm afraid Kiwi's data is not correct. He is showing "short" sales on a daily basis, when in reality, they are only reported twice a month.
What Kiwi is mistaking for short sales--are the daily settlings of trades.
Re: shorts--yes, if Wave actually gains traction and signs deals, then I think you would be right. Shorts having to cover would add to the upward pressure--v good for supporters.
Personally, I don't think short covering will add much, but I could be wrong.
I like your optimism, but wish it were based on something besides hope.
Is it your opinion Trusted Computing will take off in a big bang kinda mode, or do you think it will be incremental bits here and there?
If you favor the big bang model, I believe we would see immediate reaction at the share price/vol. metric.
If you think it will come in dribs and drabs, the SP/vol will start to slowly creep up, IMO.
I keep looking for signs of an uptake in TPM usage and thus far, nothing on the scope.
Where should I be looking (other than at the growing pile of dots)?
Do you agree with Barge, traction will first come with consumer devices? Or do you favor the enterprise/govt model?
Best wishes for your dreams to come true--Blue
