I thought this was supposed to make them more of a buyout candidate now that their is no change of control provision for Tysabri :-)

The buyout hopes are shattered.

Well someone like Icahn could now make a run at them planning to simply liquidate the company and distribute the assets.

Anyone have a good handle on their current balance sheet?

I thought they were setting the company up for a buyout. I guess Biogen was only interested in Tysabri.
The company has zero credibility.
If Elan was a horse...
I am sure there are loads of former and current shareholders who would be more than willing to pull the trigger.
