Probably someone trying to sell short in the .20s and cover back in the teens like they've been doing for weeks now. The shorts have been providing most of the liquidity in this stock for the past month IMO. The problem is you never know when someone covers intraday and basically doubles the amount of shares traded to shares shorted. And the fact that we've stopped seeing higher highs isn't too good either. The shorts are gonna have control off this stock until either news hits and generates some interest over here or we get a big, new investor who wants to start a position with 50 or 100k shares or something. Personally, I'm hoping for the former rather than the later, which is really just a wish and a prayer. We need some new blood here to get us out of this damned short wash, rinse, and repeat cycle we've been in. At this point the longs who are busy slapping the ask are just feeding the short sellers their money. Maybe Mr.40 was right and the best way to screw the shorts is to just sit on the bid and not give them any action. Starve em out, so to speak. Thoughts?
