It appears you haven't read too many of his posts. He doesn't deny second amendment rights. I have never heard him say that ... why would you post such a thing? .. do you have a post where he as said that " We have no rights to own a gun " ? .. If so please post it .. tia.

I have no problem with people owning a gun or a rifle. I do have a problem with 100 round drums, cop killer bullets, assault type rifles, no penalty for not recording a sale of a gun or even tracking inventory, no background checks or waiting periods for every gun sale, selling ammo over the internet, and not registering every gun in ones possession. I'd even go further and say that one must be able to re-register their license every few years in case circumstances change.

What is happening in this society when we cater to the basest of people's fears is that society deteriorates. Having the NRA and gun nut who fantasize about repelling tyranny and needing assault style weapons should not be appeased but scorned.

To say that the constitution should never evolve with the times is just retarded. The 2nd amendment was written during a time when the top of the line weapon could fire 6 rounds a minute. Think about that for a second.

You hit a real sore spot with the liberals on this board. I posted an intelligent article about "Why liberals should champion the 2nd Amendment," yet it's probably too long for them to read, plus, as you have noticed, they are NOT open to ANYTHING that gets in the way of their agenda (FORCE FED to them by morons in the MSM like Chris Matthews, Al Sharpton, Rachael Maddow, and Bill Maher), even if it means shredding the parts of the Constitution they dislike.

The kicker will be when the gov't begins to remove the parts they enjoy -- like free speech. And make no mistake, if they get rid of one part, there WILL be others to follow.

Interesting how most of the Amendments say they are granted to THE PEOPLE, yet the libtards want to say the Founding Fathers meant the people on all of them except the 2nd one. That one requires "interpretation" by the media and the totalitarian gov't. Too funny how weak their arguments are.
