The COMP has much more weight than the NDX. If the NDX made a higher low and the COMP, SPX, DJIA didn`t, then it`s a questionable signal. I don`t expect people to hold longs into the weekend. Expect some profit taking to occur. Market breadth has turned to the bearish side as down volume is exceeding up volume.
Yes, the NDX will need to make a lower low soon, IMO. These things tend to get resolved sooner or later. Last summer, the NDX made a couple lower lows, but the COMP did not. You may recall the COMP joined in 2-months later.
