Lucent collaborating with IDCC will give them a leg up on everything in wireless. Wi-fi, smart antennas, 802.16, HSDPA, HSUPA, TDMA, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, 2-2.5 and 3g. This collaboration thing may speed things along for Lucent.
