Played on some dormant bermuda greens today...totally unfair based on the slopes of those greens. I've been on fast greens before, these were probably a 16-18 on the stimp. If you were above the hole it could not stop till it reached some level ground. My first 2 putts (for birdies) were from 18 and 15 feet...slightly downhill. Even knowing they were fast I barely nudged them and they went 10-12 feet past.
It affected your chips, pitches and approach shots too, tryng to play trick shots to get them to stay on.
I probably won't play there again while the greens are dormant....it can't be doing my game any good.
I did hit it pretty good though and made 2 birds on the back nine.
Playing Monday back on bent greens...they'll probably feel like shag carpet.
