80 - 26 = 54 barrels produced between 12/05/12 and 01/01/13. since december has 31 days, 31 - 5 = 26 days. so 54 / 26 = about 2 BOPD. did that help?

to your point, we'll have to wait for more numbers to see if any of the new 6 wells contributed to the additional 54 barrels, or if those 54 were all from the first well...
