Town Drunk: There are enough problems with SFMI and enough undocumented and BS postings that I don't think we need to add undocumented things to this board. I have not found anything in the Files of the DEQ or Owyhee county or geologic reports to suggest that the groundwater on the mountain is contaminated. Water has been flowing or at least trickling from sinker tunnel for years and it has not been ponded or treated. If or when they ever determine how they are going to drain the mines above sinker, they will need to evaluate and sample the water, but I don't think that we know that it will need to be treated. That would be a really expensive undertaking, but where is your source for this??? If you have a source I retract my statement. I wish we could try to stick to what we know and continue to point out the lack of documentation in the pumpers postings. geomine.

How about posting what you have on the water on War eagle. I have not found anything that has said there was any problem with any of the water there even in the old shafts. Heard the water in the sinker was drinkable.Look at the vid from gold fever
