An even more poignant question is why did Ms Manning increase her holdings from 26M to 48M shares after she became a director.
The first 26M were purchased below 1 cent and she could have easily made 6 to 10 times her investment. Instead she choose to double her stake and appears to have purchased them at much higher prices.
